This is a quick article that will give you some basic tricks of breathing to relax your mind (even while driving), and put breath work to use in your martial arts training.

Breath work of breathing is obviously essential to sustain life, but also focused can relax the mind and heart in times of stress, as well as provide tremendous amounts of energy when needed. Let out as much air as you can, and when the arms are fully extended, palms out, give one more push to let the last bit of air. Repeat 10-30. It can be very relaxing.

By nature, I'ma restless person. While there seems to be affecting your baby or food, I think it would be great if I could practice meditation during lactation. I have no idea how to meditate. Has anyone tried this and did help, if so, what methods?

I loved breastfeeding and just stare at my baby and thank God for it. Try singing songs to help you relax and your baby will like. Just say something soothing to your baby should also help.

Many people are put off travel to Nepal during the monsoon. I think the monsoon is one of the best times to travel in Nepal, if you want to see the true culture, form and beauty of life in the Himalayas. Granted that probably will not see the coveted snowy peaks of the Himalayas, but the reward of getting a little wet and muddy worth worthwhile. Just remember to pack your umbrella, a touch of humor to sit down and spill the camera to capture the heart and soul of Nepal.

The monsoon itself is largely the lifeblood of urban and rural areas of Nepal. Life here revolves around the arrival and departure of the annual flooding of three months. Good Morning! =) I have a question about weight loss, please help?

Hello! My name is Niki and I leave on Wednesday for a 20-day meditation retreat. It serves nothing but vegetables, tofu, fruit and rice. Am 9 pounds overweight for my height (Weight 155 and 5 '4 ") and would like eventually be 120 to 125. There are a lot of walking during this course, probably 1 to 4 miles a day. If I abstain from rice, how much weight can I expect to lose during these 20 days? Thanks for your time! =)

first of all you really want to avoid "shocking" your body with a drastic change in diet. You do not want your body to its being private. If the body thinks it is deprived will store energy instead of releasing, which is what you want done to free extra kilos. Frankly its size, all you have to do is exersize. I wouldnt leave the rice for their retirement, expecially if it is brown rice. But what may do is eat 5-6 small meals a day to maintain their blood sugar levels and exersize 2x a day to boost metabolism. One reason we're getting fatter LARGE as a society is that "diet", which is a temporary change and the end result is weight changes yo-yo. Losing weight should be small changes over a long period of time resulting in a change of lifestyle to maintain weight. Weight loss should be slow. Another suggestion, stay away from white flour and processed sugar. (frankly, I wonder all the "processed" foods, the closer a food is intended for the gods of the best way for you.) Eating these things make you hungry in the long run. CAFFENE also has the same effect on you as it does sugar, which will also suffer from hunger in the long term.
