Meditation is a group of mental training techniques. You can use meditation to improve mental health and capacity to improve their motivation to your objectives and to help improve physical health. Some of these techniques are very simple, so you can learn from a book or article, others require the guidance of a qualified meditation teacher.
What is Meditation
Most of techniques called meditation include the following components:
1. From sitting or lying in a relaxed position with eyes closed.
2. You breathe regularly. You breathe in deep enough to get enough oxygen. When you exhale, relax the muscles so that your lungs are rather empty, but without effort.
3. You stop thinking about everyday problems and issues.
4. You concentrate your thoughts on a sound, a word is repeated, an image, an abstract concept or some feeling. All your attention should be directed toward the object that has decided to concentrate on.
5. If some thoughts in foreign creep, just leave this foreign thought, and again the object of meditation.
The different meditation techniques vary the degree of concentration, and how foreign thoughts are handled. In some techniques, the aim is to concentrate so intensely that no foreign thoughts occur at all.

When you discover these foreign thoughts, one stops these and goes back to pure meditation in a relaxed manner. Meditation has the following effects:
1. Meditation reduces stress and give you rest and recreation.

3. You learn to concentrate better on problem-solving.
4. Meditation often has a positive effect on blood pressure.
5. Meditation has beneficial effects upon inner body processes, such as circulation, respiration and digestion.
6. Regular meditation will have a psychotherapeutic effect.
7. Regular meditation will facilitate the immune system.
8. Meditation is usually pleasant.
Hypnosis DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AND MEDITATION
Hypnosis can have some of the same relaxing and psychotherapeutic effects meditation. However, when one thinks is in control of yourself in hypnosis you let some other person or some mechanical device you control. Also hypnosis will not have a training effect of the ability to concentrate.
A simple form of meditation
This is a simple form of meditation. By this meditation technique, you should concentrate easily. This will allow foreign thoughts to pop up. These are handled one by one as they appear. You do the following:
1. Sit in a chair or in a comfortable position.
2. Close your eyes and relax all muscles, as well as you can.
3. Stop thinking about nothing, or at least try not to think about anything.
4. Exhale, relax all muscles of the respiratory system.
5. Repeat the following 10 to 20 minutes:
– Breathe deeply, in which you feel you get enough oxygen.
– Exhale, relax the chest and diaphragm completely.
– Each time you breathe out, I think the word "one" or another simple word inside yourself. You must think of the word so long, and to hear him inside you, but you should try to avoid using your mouth or voice.
6. If foreign thoughts come in, just stop these thoughts in a relaxed manner, and continue to focus on breathing and the word is repeated.
As you proceed through this meditation, you should feel more and more relaxed in your mind and body, feeling more and more efficient breathing, and circulation of blood throughout the body becomes more efficient. You also may feel increasing mental pleasure throughout the meditation.
